  It is used for terminal ballistics on rifle rounds. .223 and 5.56 rounds work great because the 20% gel is denser, slowing projectiles much sooner. This block meets the NATO standard for 20% ballistic gel. Our ultra-clear organic ballistic gel is also more resistant to heat and weather conditions. The long-range block is great if you're terminal ballistics testing and want more than 16 or 18" of travel — it gives you an exponential amount of room for testing and data. Great for all testing, from archery to rifles. The block also has a much larger surface area for aiming and hitting your target at longer distances.
