Discover the Story Behind Ballistic Dummy Lab
Physiologically accurate, hyper-realistic human replicas — engineered for the professionals who test, train, and tell stories.

About Us
Ballistic Dummy Lab builds hyper-realistic ballistic gel human and animal replicas, from hands and heads to full bodies, plus raptors, bears, rats, and custom builds. Everything is made to order in our shop in Woodstock, Georgia.
We started in 2010 as the ballistic dummy line at Silver Shamrock Lab, the practical-effects studio Chris and Amy Mills founded in 2006. The first dummies were built for Deadliest Warrior. As testers, trainers, and creators kept asking for more, the dummies outgrew the effects shop, and Ballistic Dummy Lab became its own company in 2020.
Give anyone who tests, trains, or films a human target they can trust: consistent gel, accurate anatomy, and results you can see.
