How to choose

1. Pick your format

  • No-internals torsos: solid gel, no skeleton, head or headless. The budget pick for penetration depth and wound-channel testing.
  • Unloaded torsos: gel with a full skeleton inside, so you see bone strikes without organs.
  • Loaded torsos: skeleton plus organs and blood (red, blue, or green) for the most realistic reaction on impact. They come headless, with head, or with head and arms.
  • Full bodies: head to toe. Male is 225 lb, female is 189 lb.

2. Pick your gel

  • Organic gel: the go-to for blunt force trauma and knife or sword testing. Organic no-internals torsos come in 20% only, since 10% is too soft to hold that shape.
  • Perma-Gel: synthetic and reusable. It's stable up to 110°F and can be remelted 2–5 times. Perma-Gel no-internals torsos come in 10% or 20%.
  • 10% is FBI standard and 20% is NATO standard. Which one do you need? →
