Shipping at Ballistic Dummy Lab

Our products range from small gel blocks to 250 lb full-body ballistic dummies. Shipping method, cost, and lead time depend on item weight and order quantity. Shipping Tiers

Standard Ground (Items under 80 lbs, single units)

  • Carrier: UPS Ground or FedEx Ground
  • Lead Time: 1–2 weeks from order confirmation
  • Cost: Calculated at checkout based on destination ZIP

LTL Freight (Items 80 lbs and over, or bulk orders)

  • Carriers: FedEx Freight, XPO Logistics, Old Dominion, R+L Carriers
  • Lead Time: 2–3 weeks from order confirmation (production + transit)
  • Freight Class: Typically Class 50–70 depending on product and packaging
  • Cost: Based on weight, dimensions, freight class, and destination — request a freight quote

Full Truckload (FTL) — Large Bulk Orders

  • Available for orders of 10+ full-body dummies or pallet-quantity gel blocks
  • Typically 20–30% lower per-unit shipping cost vs. LTL

Delivery Options

  • Commercial Dock: Standard freight delivery for warehouses, ranges, and facilities with a loading dock
  • Liftgate Delivery: For residential addresses or locations without a loading dock — must be requested at time of quote
  • Inside Delivery: Available on request — additional fee applies
  • White Glove: Delivery, unpacking, and placement — available for large institutional orders

Lead Times

  • Gel Blocks (standard sizes): 1–2 weeks
  • Gel Torsos and Busts: 2–3 weeks
  • Full-Body Dummies: 2–4 weeks
  • Custom / Special Orders: 2–6 weeks (contact us for timeline)

Rush / Expedited Orders: If you need emergency replacement targets or have a hard event deadline, please contact us immediately — we will do everything possible to accommodate rush production and expedited freight.

International Shipping

We ship internationally to approved destinations via air or ocean freight. Some products may require export licensing depending on destination country and end use. Duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Contact us for international freight quotes and export compliance.

B2B and Government Procurement

We regularly supply law enforcement agencies, military units, federal contractors, and professional training facilities. For procurement through a government purchase order, sole-source contract, or GSA schedule, we can provide formal freight quotes, pro forma invoices, and Net 30 payment terms for qualifying organizations.

Damaged Shipments

Inspect all freight deliveries before signing the bill of lading. If damage is visible, note it on the delivery receipt and photograph it. Contact us within 48 hours and we will file the freight claim and arrange replacement.
